Birth Doula Services:I provide 2 prenatal visits which last from 1-2 hours each, additional visits if requested. Unlimited support by phone and/or email during the prenatal period and two weeks postpartum including lactation counseling. Additional lactation counseling available on a fee per visit basis. I am very committed to breastfeeding as the best thing for you and your baby, so it is a passion of mine to help you succeed with your breastfeeding relationship. Once labor has started, I will join you either at your home, or your birth facility, whichever you prefer. I will provide continuous physical and emotional support and educational information for both you and your partner. That includes but is not limited to suggestions for position changes, massage, aromatherapy and emotional affirmations. I will remind both yourself and your partner to stay hydrated, nourished and foster communication between you and the medical staff. I also take photos and provide you with a CD of all photos taken. |

I provide a written birth story on a 12 X 12 two page scrapbook layout with photos. Also included is 1 after-birth in home visit, to review your birth experience, answer questions and help with breastfeeding.
While I will make every effort to personally attend to your needs, I also have several area doulas that I have back-up arrangements with, that are available in the event of an emergency.
Fee: $450.00
If this fee is a hardship, please ask and we may be able to work out a payment plan.Discounted services available to teenagers and single moms.
